Overview

Location: Bromley by Bow Centre
Job Type: Part time, 28 hours per week
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £35,373.60 per annum (0.8 FTE £28,298.88 per annum)

Job Role:

Team Leaders at the Centre are responsible for the day-to-day delivery by their respective team. This role will contribute to and support the Delivery Manager to achieve the overall objective of the Centre, which is to deliver services that enable our community to thrive.

Responsibilities

The Team Leader - Energy and Financial Wellbeing will line manage a number of Advisor and Caseworkers and ensure that they deliver our services effectively and in line with our ambition. Beyond these management responsibilities, they will also engage in front-line delivery within this area. The split between front-line delivery and line management for this role will be agreed with the Delivery Manager, but we expect it to be around 50%-line management and 50% front-line delivery. The role will involve understanding Energy and Financial Wellbeing work in our context and supporting the Advisors to deliver their objectives.

Team Leaders will promote a positive culture of collaboration, creativity and innovation amongst their direct reports and teams and support the development of innovative, inspiring and viable service propositions.

Team Leaders will play a key role in continuing to develop our internal culture within teams, specifically driving forward our commitment to being a truly antiracist and inclusive organisation and creating space for honest conversations and feedback.

Experience

You may also have experience in the following: Community Engagement Leader, Community Development Manager, Neighbourhood Coordinator, Local Area Coordinator, Community Empowerment Manager, Community Project Manager, etc.
