Ward Security is seeking an experienced Security Team Leader to oversee operations at a prominent corporate facility in Birmingham. You will lead a security team, maintain high customer service standards, and uphold robust security procedures with a calm and decisive leadership style.

You will manage incidents, supervise access control and reporting, and ensure staff, visitors, and management receive professional information in multiple channels.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence
• CCTV Licence
• Proven supervisory or leadership security role (min 1 year)
• Min 2 years in corporate security
• Excellent customer service and communication
• Professional attitude and presentation
• Clear, concise verbal and written reports
• 5-year checkable work history

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for staff, visitors and contractors
• Lead and support the on‑site security team and ensure procedure compliance
• Provide clear information in person, by phone or email
• Manage and escalate incidents to management as required
• Maintain professional presence and set team standards
• Respond to emergencies effectively and coordinate response
• Oversee ID checks and access control
• Ensure incident reports meet company standards
• Supervise cleaning to keep reception and areas presentable

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Security Team Leader to oversee security operations at a prominent corporate facility in the heart of Birmingham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting a security team, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, maintaining a clean and professional environment, and upholding robust security procedures. You will have a strong background in the security sector, demonstrate leadership and decision-making capabilities, be IT proficient, and always present a polished and professional image.

Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will act as a key point of contact for staff, visitors, and management. You will oversee ID checks, respond to and manage incidents and emergencies, and ensure your team operates in line with site and company standards.

Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Days and Nights - 42 hours per week
