Ward Security in Central London is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to manage a large corporate building on a days-only basis. The role requires SIA licensure, leadership, and excellent communication to oversee a busy security team in a premier London location.

The position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of £16.60 and a shift pattern from Monday to Friday, providing ample opportunities for progression, training, and professional development within a structured team environment.

Qualifications

• SIA licensed security personnel knowledge is required.
• Proven experience as a Security Supervisor or similar role.
• Ability to supervise a large security team and coordinate daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily security team operations, ensuring tasks are completed.
• Report issues to the manager in a timely manner.
• Ensure night and weekend teams are aware of events.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to deter security risks and protect assets.
• Serve as point of contact for staff and visitors; respond to emergencies.
• Maintain incident write-ups to management standards; perform ID checks.

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable days only Security Supervisor to safeguard a prominent facility in London. The successful applicant will have a background in Security Supervision, supervising a large corporate building situated in Central London

Position: Security Supervisor

Pay rate: £16.60 per hour

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 60 Hours per week, 12 Hour Shifts.

Main duties:

• Supervise daily security team operations, ensuring efficient task completion
• Report any issues to the manager
• Ensure night and weekend security team are aware of any events taking place
• To provide regular foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the client's property and assets.
• To provide a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors.
• Respond to emergencies
• Deal with conflict in an appropriate manner if required
• Write up incidents to the standard expected by Management
• Carry out ID checks
• Be vigilant to the Health and Safety risks
• Excellent communication skills to all levels – verbally, written, phone and by security radio's
• Can work effectively as part of a team or can work on own initiative
• A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges

Must Have:

• Valid SIA licence
• Proven work experience as a Security Supervisor - min 1 year
• Robust leadership and supervision skills, adept at inspiring and efficiently managing teams.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
• Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability
• Profound problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to analyse intricate security issues and devise effective solutions.
• IT literate- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
