Job summary

Cygnet Group in West Yorkshire is seeking a confident Team Leader to work across Norcott House, supporting adults with learning disabilities. You will split shifts between support worker and team leader, supervise staff, administer medication, and help develop person-centered plans.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care.
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
• Learn about individuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical & welfare needs & report as required.
• Support management in the day-to-day running of the service.
• Undertake supervisory & administrative responsibilities.

You'll be working full time42hours a week,12hour shifts, including alternate weekends,,making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care atNorcott House.

You will work some shifts as a support worker, and some shifts as a team leader, allocating duties, giving medication, supervising the staff team and demonstrating best practice.

Located in the suburbs of Liversdge in West Yorkshire, Norcott House is a specialist residential service providing outcome focused care for adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs who may have behaviours that challenge.
