Job summary

Cygnet’s Norcott House in West Yorkshire is seeking a confident Team Leader to deliver outstanding care. You’ll work 42 hours a week, with 12-hour shifts, including alternate weekends, and split shifts between support worker and team leader, coordinating duties and supervising staff.

You will help with medication, safeguarding, and service user independence within a person-centred care pathway. The role offers opportunities to develop management and leadership skills and to grow with a large UK

• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs & report as required
• Support management in the day-to-day running of the service
• Undertake supervisory & administrative responsibilities

You'll be working full time 42 hours a week,12 hour shifts, including alternate weekends, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Norcott House. You will work some shifts as a support worker, and some shifts as a team leader, allocating duties, giving medication, supervising the staff team and demonstrating best practice. Located in the suburbs of Liversedge in West Yorkshire, Norcott House is a specialist residential service providing outcome focused care for adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs who may have behaviours that challenge.
