Job summary

Nottingham City Council is recruiting an Operational Resource Planner Team Leader to supervise frontline staff within the Planned & Investment Team. You will schedule work, allocate tasks to trades colleagues and contractors, and ensure efficient use of resources in a busy, results-driven environment.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent organisation, and the ability to manage diaries and priorities against demanding KPIs. Hybrid working with a mix of base and remote days applies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience coordinating, managing and maintaining appointments and diaries of large teams within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, including diary management for teams.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and meet KPIs.
• Strong customer focus with problem-solving ability.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and work as part of a team.
• Effective communication with tenants, colleagues and customers across channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Operational Resource Planners scheduling workload of trades colleagues/contractors.
• Allocate and organise work to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Oversee 1:1s and address initial performance issues.
• Act as first port of call for resolving work problems and driving improvements.
• Ensure decisions align with the Planned & Investment Team framework.
