Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking an Operational Resource Planner Team Leader in a hybrid role. The post supports the Planned & Investment Team, supervising frontline staff and coordinating resource scheduling to deliver efficient capital works. Range £33,673 to £36,581 on an annual basis.

The position is based at Harvey Road (NG8 3BB), with a 37-hour week, Monday to Friday, and a mix of base and remote work as agreed with the Line Manager. Closing date: 15 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Proven experience coordinating, managing and maintaining appointments and diaries of large teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, including managing diaries for teams.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and meet KPIs.
• Highly customer focused with problem solving skills.
• Strong team leadership and collaboration abilities.
• Effective communication with tenants, colleagues and customers by various channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Operational Resource Planners in scheduling workloads for trades colleagues and contractors.
• Allocate and organise work to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Supervise front line staff, conduct 1:1s and address performance issues.
• Provide first point of contact for resolving work problems and implementing improvements.
