Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Farnborough is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with SEMH and SEN needs in a 4-16 specialist provision.

You will work closely with teachers to support individual learners, help manage emotions, and foster engagement in lessons within small classes. A Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service is required or willingness to obtain one; temp role with potential for extension.

Qualifications

Role: 1:1 Learning Support Assistant
Pay: £14.25 per hour

A specialist SEMH and SEN school in Farnborough is seeking a dedicated learning Support Assistant to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This role involves providing consistent, individual support to help the pupil remain engaged with learning, manage emotions, and build confidence within the classroom environment. The school offers a structured and nurturing setting, with small classes of around six pupils and strong LSA support, enabling staff to provide personalised support.

The provision operates across two buildings within walking distance of each other, supporting pupils aged 4-16 with a range of SEMH and SEN needs.
