Job summary

Wyke Regis Federation is seeking a flexible Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will support class teachers, deliver SEN support for individual pupils, and help promote high engagement and behaviour standards.

The role is part of a 27.5-hour week, term-time only, with potential for additional hours. Visits to the school are welcome, and applications close on 21 September 2026.

Job description

Salary - £16,028 - £16,800 pro rated per annum (Grade 3 to 5 depending on experience).

We are seeking a flexible, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team of excellent Teaching Assistants. We are looking for a highly motivated team member with the skills and experience necessary to support and assist the class teachers in promoting high standards of engagement and behaviour, as well as engaging in SEN support for individual pupils.

The contract is permanent initially for 27.5 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours, term time only.

The ideal candidate will be resilient and flexible, with a passion for supporting all children's needs either in a mainstream classroom environment or on an individual basis.
