Teaching Assistant (TA3) - Science

The successful candidate will work 34 hours per week, Term Time plus 1 week.

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (TA3) in Science who is willing to go the "extra mile" in supporting our pupils to achieve their full potential. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of the Science curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5 in line with the plans of the Science Curriculum Lead, prepare, deliver and evaluate Science intervention programmes to pupils of different ages and ability levels, be familiar and confident within the entirety of the Science National Curriculum along with pathways for formal qualifications such as Entry Level and GCSE and support teachers both specialist and non specialist with the organising of scientific equipment required for lessons and learning activities.

Full details of the role are detailed in the below Job Description and Person Specification.

We passionately believe in empowering our students and their families to advocate for their individual needs to support them to make meaningful contributions to society and to gain employment if that istheir chosen destination. This is demonstrated in our diverse curriculum that promotes an aspirational academic and social pathway.
