Job summary

Presfield High School & Specialist College is seeking a Teaching Assistant (TA3) in Science to support pupils across Key Stages 3 to 5. The role is 34 hours per week during term time plus one inset week, with a permanent contract.

The successful candidate will work to motivate students, support the delivery of the Science curriculum, assist with equipment and lesson preparation, and collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment that values safeguarding and pupil

Qualifications

• Willing to go the extra mile to support pupils.
• Experience in SEN environment desirable.
• Motivation and resilience important.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the Science curriculum across Key Stages 3–5.
• Prepare, deliver and evaluate Science intervention programmes for pupils.
• Be familiar with the Science National Curriculum and GCSE/Entry Level pathways.
• Assist teachers with organising equipment and learning activities.
