Abbey Park Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our Key Stage 1 team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to play a key role in supporting children to overcome barriers to learning, develop their confidence and independence, and become the very best versions of themselves.

We are aninclusiveschool providing education for children from 2 to 12 years old. We pride ourselves on working collaboratively as a team, ensuring that every child receives the support, challenge and encouragement they need to achieve their potential.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support children both academically and pastorally. You will help create a nurturing, engaging and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued, supported and able to succeed.

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team member to join us in this permanent, full-time position of 32 hours and 5 minutes per week.

Ideally, you will have previous experience of working with children and will hold a Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics.

You will need to be:
