Job summary

Pathway Education in Erith is seeking a patient, nurturing individual to join a welcoming SEND school supporting pupils with ASD and PMLD. You will help students achieve academically, socially, and emotionally in small, well-resourced classes.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 3:45pm, with a clear temp-to-perm pathway and opportunities for tailored training and career progression. A DBS check is required or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with SEND or young people (backgrounds in Education, Care, Sports, Social Work, Psychology, or Drama are welcome).
  • Enhanced DBS check required or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with autism (ASD) and PMLD to achieve academically, socially and emotionally.
  • Assist in small, well-resourced classes under supervision.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement personalised learning plans.

Job description

Join a welcoming SEND school in Erith, supporting pupils with Autism (ASD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). You will play a key role in helping students achieve academically, socially, and emotionally within small, well-resourced classes.
