Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Primary, Secondary and Autism/SEND settings in Croydon. Start dates depend on safeguarding checks, with opportunities for daily assignments or long-term, full-time positions.

Applicants should be proactive, adaptable and able to work with both mainstream and SEND learners. Roles commence in September 26, with a fast clearance process and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Recent classroom experience in Primary, Secondary or Autism and SLD / and or PMLD settings.
• Experience supporting individuals in other sectors (Support Work, Care etc.)
• Passion and desire to work in either Mainstream or SEND learning environments.
• Initiative, willingness and hands on approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Live within a fair commute to the school

Responsibilities

• Assist teaching staff in daily classroom activities.
• Support learners with additional learning needs in mainstream and SEND settings.
• Help implement lesson plans and supervise students as directed.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Teaching Assistants, Croydon

Empowering Learning Ltd are recruiting Teaching Assistants who are looking to work on a daily basis and long-term full-time positions, in our SEND/ Autism school in Croydon. We have a high need of classroom support across Primary and Secondary age ranges, to start immediately depending on safeguarding checks.

The Role is to start in September 26.

We are seeking enthusiastic, proactive and hands on practitioners that can take direction, that have a dynamic approach and works effectively with both Mainstream students, and those with additional learning difficulties.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Recent classroom experience in a Primary, Secondary or Autism and SLD / and or PMLD settings


• Experience supporting individuals in other sectors (Support Work, Care etc.)


• Passion and desire to work in either Mainstream or SEND learning environments
