Job summary

CER Education is seeking a compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a vibrant school in the Luton area, supporting students with SEND across age groups in a nurturing environment.

You will work under the direction of teachers and the SENCO to implement IEPs and tailored learning plans, fostering social, emotional, and academic development through targeted interventions.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children with SEND in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of strategies to support students with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or other learning difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Ability to commute reliably to East London.

Salary: £92.59 – £110.24 per day / Pay to Scale (annum)
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Location: Luton

Role Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive school in East London. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across a range of age groups in a nurturing and forward-thinking environment.
