Job summary

Nala Global Ltd is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in the DE11 area. You will work 1:1 and in small groups to support pupils with additional needs, helping them to engage and progress.

This full-time, term-time position offers competitive daily pay and opportunities for ongoing CPD, with immediate start available and potential pathways to permanent roles.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is preferred.
• Experience or strong interest in SEN is desirable.
• Candidate is patient, caring and resilient.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are important.

• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to obtain one.

Pay: £105 - £130 per day (depending on experience)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in the DE11 area. Your Role Will Include:

• Providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs
• Supporting children with Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Speech & Language needs
• Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
• Assisting with the delivery of personalised learning activities
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Building strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents
• Helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working with children or young people (preferred)
• Has SEN experience or a genuine interest in supporting learners with additional needs
• Is patient, caring, and resilient
• Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills
