Job summary

Derby area SEN Teaching Assistant role in a primary school requires delivering 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs in DE23. You will assist learners with ASC, MLD, SLD, and Speech & Language needs, fostering engagement and independence within an inclusive setting.

Immediate start available for a patient, resilient practitioner with good teamwork and communication skills. Term-time, full-time position with competitive daily rates.

Qualifications

• Has experience working with children or young people (preferred).
• Has SEN experience or a genuine interest in supporting learners with additional needs.
• Is patient, caring, and resilient.
• Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Is passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives.
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
