Job summary

Nala Global Ltd is seeking a Teaching Assistant (SEN) for a primary setting in NG16. This full-time role is term-time only with daily pay between £105-£130, starting immediately.

You will provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with ASC, MLD, SLD, and Speech & Language needs, promote inclusion, and work closely with teachers and parents.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (preferred).
• SEN experience or genuine interest in supporting learners with additional needs.
• Patient, caring and resilient with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: £105 - £130 per day (depending on experience)

Hours: Full-Time | Term Time Only

Your Role Will Include:

• Providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs
• Supporting children with Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Speech & Language needs
• Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
• Assisting with the delivery of personalised learning activities
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Building strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents
• Helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working with children or young people (preferred)
• Has SEN experience or a genuine interest in supporting learners with additional needs
• Is patient, caring, and resilient
• Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills
• Is passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one
