Job summary

Nala Global Ltd is recruiting a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (SEN) to support pupils within a welcoming primary SEN school in Derby. The role is full-time, term time only, with ASAP start, and offers competitive daily rates of £105–£130.

Based in Derby, you will work to support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, assisting children with autism and other needs while promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning. DBS update service is desirable or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

Experience working with children desirable
SEN experience beneficial but not essential
Caring, patient, and resilient nature
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

Responsibilities

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
Assisting children with Autism, MLD, SLD and Speech & Language needs
Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Supporting social, emotional, and academic development
