Job summary

NG10 Based Primary School is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a primary setting. The role focuses on 1:1 and small-group support, working with children with ASC, MLD, SLD, and Speech & Language needs.

You will help pupils engage, gain confidence and become more independent while promoting inclusive learning. The position is full-time, term-time only, with immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (preferred).
• SEN experience or genuine interest in supporting learners with additional needs.
• Patience, caring, and resilience are essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills desired.
• Passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives.
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in the NG10 area. • Providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs
• Supporting children with Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Speech & Language needs
• Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
• Assisting with the delivery of personalised learning activities
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Building strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents
• Helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
