Job summary

Oaklands Mead Academy in Leicester is seeking a Teaching Assistant SEN to support learners aged 4-11 with complex speech, language and communication needs, mostly on the autistic spectrum. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above including English and Maths.
• Teaching Assistant qualification desirable.
• Experience of class supervision and assisting with lesson provision to achieve positive learning outcomes.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in tandem with teaching staff.
• Ability to be empathetic and understanding to the needs of students.
