Job summary

Oasis Academy New Oak in Bristol is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support learners with differentiated needs in a structured learning environment, helping them reach their full potential.

The role requires NVQ/VRQ Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent), Maths and English GCSEs (A*-C / 9-4) or Level 2 numeracy and literacy, and experience in SEN provision or specialist settings. Term-time pattern: 39 weeks, 37 hours per week, start 2 November 2026.

Qualifications

• NVQ/VRQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent.
• Maths and English GCSE grade A*-C / 9-4 or Numeracy and Literacy Level 2 on the NQF or equivalent.
• Experience in a specialist SEN setting, resource base or SEN provision.
