Oasis Academy New Oak in Bristol is seeking a Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant to support learners with differentiated needs, provide learning support in a structured setting and help learners with complex behaviours reach their potential.

We require NVQ/VRQ Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent, Maths/English GCSEs at A*-C, and experience in SEN provision. Term-time, permanent contract with 39 weeks and 37 hours per week at Oasis Community Learning group.

Qualifications

  • NVQ/VRQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Maths and English GCSE grade A*-C (9-4) or Numeracy/Literacy Level 2 on the NQF or equivalent.
  • Experience leading in a specialist setting, resource base, or SEN provision.
