Lift Brockworth is a two-form entry primary school looking for Teaching Assistants to support young learners and help them reach their potential. You will work with teachers to enable access to the curriculum and foster confidence in students.

This role offers training pathways through Level 3 and Level 5 Teaching Assistant apprenticeships, with clear opportunities to progress into further teaching roles within a supportive, inclusive school community.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4+) or working towards functional skills.
• Strong communication, empathy and patience with young learners.
• Basic IT skills and willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support students to access lessons and achieve their learning goals.
• Work with teachers to plan and assess high-quality learning activities.
• Guide individuals and small groups through targeted learning sessions.
• Build positive relationships and support wellbeing and behaviour.
• Work with teachers, pastoral staff and families to help all students succeed.
