Lift Ashingdon seeks a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with diverse learning needs. The role focuses on helping students access lessons, build confidence and participate fully in class.

You will work closely with teachers, SENCO and families, delivering targeted interventions and promoting inclusive learning. Training opportunities include Level 3/5 TA programmes and potential teaching pathways.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (or working towards them)
• Good communication skills and a calm, patient approach
• Willingness to learn and contribute as part of a team
• Interest in developing teaching support and SEND awareness

Responsibilities

• Support pupils to access learning including SEND pupils
• Help pupils develop confidence and independent learning
• Deliver targeted individual and small-group interventions
• Support teachers with learning, assessment and monitoring progress; promote positive behaviour and inclusion
