Job summary

Lift Brockworth is a two-form entry primary school looking for Teaching Assistants to support young learners and help them reach their potential. You will work with teachers to enable access to the curriculum and foster confidence in students.

This role offers training pathways through Level 3 and Level 5 Teaching Assistant apprenticeships, with clear opportunities to progress into further teaching roles within a supportive, inclusive school community.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4+) or working towards functional skills.
  • Strong communication, empathy and patience with young learners.
  • Basic IT skills and willingness to learn are essential.

  • Guide individuals and small groups through targeted learning sessions.

Your new school

Lift Brockworth is a two form entry primary school on anambitious journey to make a real difference to the lives of our children. About the role

You'll work in partnership with teachers to help students access the curriculum, build confidence and experience success. This is a chance to support young people with diverse learning needs, including SEND, while helping them grow as independent learners. Could this be the role where you truly make an impact?

What you'll need to succeed

You’ll have GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4 or above) or be willing to work towards functional skills. We're looking for someone who communicates well, shows empathy and patience, and enjoys working with young people. Basic IT skills are helpful, and a willingness to learn is essential. Do you stay calm under pressure and adapt well to different situations?
