Job summary

Lift Brockworth, part of Lift Schools, is hiring Teaching Assistants to support students in accessing the curriculum and building confidence in a nurturing environment. You will work with teachers to plan and deliver engaging activities, helping learners with diverse needs including SEND to achieve their goals.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4+).
• Strong communication, empathy and patience when working with young people.
• Basic IT skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support students to access lessons and achieve learning goals.
• Help teachers plan and assess high-quality learning activities.
• Guide individuals and small groups through targeted learning sessions.
• Build positive relationships to support wellbeing and behaviour.
• Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff and families to help students succeed.
