Job summary

Lift Brockworth is seeking Teaching Assistants to support students in a two-form entry primary school. You will work with teachers to help pupils access the curriculum, build confidence and achieve their learning goals.

We offer access to Level 3 Teaching Assistant training, clear progression routes including apprenticeships and teacher training programmes, and a supportive environment with safeguarding and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4 or above) or working towards functional skills.
• Strong communication, empathy and patience with young people.
• Basic IT skills and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support students to access lessons and achieve learning goals.
• Work with teachers to plan and assess high-quality activities.
• Guide individuals and small groups through targeted learning sessions.
• Build positive relationships and support wellbeing and behaviour.
• Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff and families to help all students succeed.
