Job summary

Marchant Recruitment seeks a Teaching Assistant for a high-achieving primary school in Ealing, London. The role is full-time, term-time only, working across Key Stages 1 and 2 to provide classroom support and small-group learning.

You will collaborate with class teachers to enable all pupils, including those with SEN or EAL, to access a balanced curriculum and reach their potential. The position starts ASAP.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C/4 or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN or EAL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist class teachers with lesson management, group work, and preparing learning materials across core subjects.
• Lead structured small-group sessions in phonics, guided reading, and early mathematics.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for children with SEN or EAL.
• Encourage positive social interactions and maintain an inclusive classroom environment.
