Teaching Personnel is recruiting for Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work across welcoming primary schools in Hounslow. Start ASAP with flexible full-time or part-time opportunities to suit your schedule.

The HLTA will deliver planned lessons during teacher PPA time, lead intervention groups, and support pupils with additional needs to help raise attainment. You will engage pupils across different year groups, build strong relationships with staff, and contribute to a positive school

Qualifications

• HLTA Status or significant experience as a Teaching Assistant
• Experience working within a Primary school setting
• Confidence leading whole-class learning when required
• Strong behaviour management and classroom support skills
• Experience delivering interventions in literacy and numeracy
• A passion for supporting pupil progress and achievement
• Excellent communication

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons during teacher PPA time and absences
• Lead intervention groups to raise attainment across the curriculum
• Support pupils with additional needs to access learning
• Help raise pupil attainment across year groups
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and support behaviour management
• Lead targeted interventions and keep pupils engaged throughout the day
