Job summary

Prospere Learning Trust in Manchester is seeking a dedicated learning support assistant to work 16 hours per week providing 1:1 support for a Post 16 student, with the remainder assisting across the school. You will support teaching and learning, manage pupils and resources, and supervise groups or sessions as required.

This is a fixed-term, full-time post equating to 35 hours per week term-time plus 1 week, with a start date of 23 November 2026 and a salary of £27,274–£29,071 per annum.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy skills at a level equivalent to NQF Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a Post 16 student for 16 hours weekly, under supervision.
• Support teaching and learning across the school and assist in management of pupils and resources.
• Supervise groups or sessions in classroom or other areas as required.
