Piper Hill Learning Trust is offering a Teaching Assistant Level 2 role at Piper Hill High School. The post is fixed term for 35 hours per week, term time plus 1 week, with a starting salary around £23,459 and full-time equivalent £27,274.

The role involves 1:1 support for a Post 16 student for 16 hours per week, with the remainder supporting across the school. Interviews commence week of 12 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy skills with a good level of knowledge and understanding at least equivalent to NQF Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team providing exceptional education for students and supporting teaching and learning across the school.
• Provide general support in the management of pupils and resources.
• Under guidance, support pupils who require help to access learning and assist in class management.
• Provide specialist support of curriculum and supervise groups or whole classes as required.
