Graduates in Maths, English or Science are desirable, but other subject specialists will also be considered.

Responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the SEND provision on a daily basis within the school.
  • Acting as a positive role model embodying the school’s values of Purposeful, Proud, Respectful, Curious, Supportive, and Ambitious.
  • Implementing the school and departmental vision, working with the SEND Lead Practitioner.
  • Creating a safe and stimulating environment rooted in mutual respect.
  • Promoting good behaviour according to school policies.
  • Respecting student dignity and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills (minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in English Language and Maths).

  • Experience with specific areas of SEND.
  • Ability to self-evaluate and seek learning opportunities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • Ability to build appropriate relationships with children and young people.

  • Access to school facilities like dining and cafes.
  • Support for further study and professional development.
