Job summary

Vision For Education Ltd. are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support a child in Key Stage 2 on a 1:1 basis at a school in Crook, DL15. The role runs full time as a temporary contract from ASAP to July 2027, 8.30am–3.30pm, five days a week.

Experience with primary-aged pupils and SEND is essential, with a collaborative school environment and accessible transport links.

Teaching Assistant (Full Time, Temporary)

£462.80 - £525 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications )

The School and Role

On behalf of Advanced Learning Partnership, we are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly school in Crook, DL15. Working as part of an established team, the Teaching Assistant will be supporting a child in Key Stage 2 with additional needs on a 1:1 basis. The needs of the child includes Autism and sensory awareness. The role would be 5 days a week, 8.30am – 3.30pm. Experience working with children with SEND would be essential. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and can be accessed on public transport.
