Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd Sunderland is seeking a full-time KS2 Teaching Assistant on an ongoing temporary contract. The role runs 9:30am-5:30pm and involves supporting learning, promoting positive behaviour and helping pupils develop confidence, independence and key skills, with after-school club support.

Experience with primary school children and pupils with SEND is required; teamwork and a passion for pupil progress are essential.

The School and Role

A welcoming and supportive school within Northern Lights Learning Trust is seeking a caring and reliable full-time KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team. The role involves supporting pupils with their learning, encouraging positive behaviour, and helping them develop confidence, independence and key skills. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide effective classroom support and create a positive learning environment. The role is 9:30am-5:30pm, including supporting the school's after-school club.
