Job summary

Advanced Learning Partnership in Spennymoor, DL16, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil with additional needs on a 1:1 basis. The role runs 5 days a week, 8:30am–3:30pm, with the school accessible by public transport.

The ideal candidate will have experience with SEND and a passion for helping primary pupils progress, thriving in a friendly school environment as part of a supportive team.

Teaching Assistant (Full Time, Temporary)

£462.80 - £525 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications )

The School and Role

On behalf of Advanced Learning Partnership, we are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly school in Spennymoor, DL16. Working as part of an established team, the Teaching Assistant will be supporting a child in Year 1 with additional needs on a 1:1 basis. The needs of the child includes Autism and sensory awareness. The role would be 5 days a week, 8.30am – 3.30pm. Experience working with children with SEND would be essential. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and can be accessed on public transport.
