Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a Crook, DL15 school. The role is full-time and temporary, supporting a KS2 pupil with SEND on a 1:1 basis, 8:30am–3:30pm, five days a week. Immediate start with July 2027 end date.

The successful candidate will have experience with primary-aged children, SEND, and a collaborative approach within a supportive senior team. The position is accessible by public transport.

Teaching Assistant(Full Time, Temporary)

Crook, DL15

£462.80 - £525 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

On behalf of Advanced Learning Partnership, we are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly school in Crook, DL15. Working as part of an established team, the Teaching Assistant will be supporting a child in Key Stage 2 with additional needs on a 1:1 basis. The needs of the child includes Autism and sensory awareness. The role would be 5 days a week, 8.30am - 3.30pm. Experience working with children with SEND would be essential. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and can be accessed on public transport.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

• Experience of working with primary school aged children
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
• An ability to work as part of a team
