Vision For Education Ltd. is actively recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work full-time in Spennymoor, DL16. You will support a Year 1 child with Autism and sensory needs on a 1:1 basis, in a 5-day, 8:30am–3:30pm schedule.

Experience with primary school pupils and SEND is essential, with a collaborative team environment and a focus on pupil progress. The role is offered through Advanced Learning Partnership and provides a supportive leadership team and easy public transport access.

£462.80 - £525 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

On behalf of Advanced Learning Partnership, we are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly school in Spennymoor, DL16. Workingas part of an established team, the Teaching Assistant will be supporting a child in Year 1 with additional needs on a 1:1 basis. The needs of the child includes Autism and sensory awareness. The role would be 5 days a week, 8.30am – 3.30pm. Experience working with children with SEND would be essential. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and can be accessed on public transport.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

• Experience of working with primary school aged children
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
• An ability to work as part of a team
