Job summary

Kingswood Primary School in the United Kingdom is seeking a temporary Teaching Assistant to provide academic and nurture support in class for our wonderful children. The role covers a sickness absence and ends on 18 December 2026.

Job description

We are looking to appoint a temporary Teaching Assistant who cares about providing both academic and nurture support in class for our wonderful children. This role is to cover a period of sickness absence and is expected to end on Friday 18 December 2026.

Your role will be to work as part of a supportive team to enhance the teaching and learning opportunities for pupils, particularly those with additional learning needs. Relevant experience supporting SEND children in a school or childcare setting is desirable but if you feel you have the right qualities for the role and are keen to learn, we would love to hear from you. The successful candidate will:

Working pattern is Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks pa). Candidates may wish to consider this role in conjunction with the Midday Meals Supervisor role advertised separately.
