Job summary

Crown Wood Primary School invites applications for a permanent Teaching Assistant to join the team from 14 September 2026. The role is full-time, across the primary setting, with 31.25 hours per week (8:30am–3:15pm) during term time.

The post, graded K-J, scales 3–6, includes lunchtime supervision and requires flexible, resilient, and resourceful helpers who may someday pursue teacher training.

  • Support across the whole primary setting.

We are looking to recruit a permanent Teaching Assistant with effect from 14th September 2026.

Crown Wood Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our existing team on a full-time, permanent basis. We are looking for versatile professionals who are able and willing to work across the whole primary setting.

Role details:

  • 1x Teaching Assistant (initially in KS2)
  • 31.25 hours per week – 8.30am to 3.15pm with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break (term time only)
  • Grade: K‑J, Scale Points: 3‑6
  • The post will include lunchtime support and is subject to all relevant checks, reference, and a successful probation period; initially offered on a fixed‑term basis.
