Job summary

Woodside Primary School in London is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant for a fixed-term, term-time role (plus inset days). Nursery-based position with an 8:30am–3:30pm schedule (32.5 hours/week). Salary follows the NJC Outer London Grade 3 spine points 5–7, pro-rata for part-time hours.

This role supports early years learners within Inspire Partnership Academy Trust. The school values collaboration, excellence and respect, offering professional development and strong safeguarding

• Interest or experience in Early Years is preferred.
• Commitment, resilience, and ambition as a Teaching Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching staff in the nursery and contribute to a safe, supportive learning environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs through the school and Trust.

About this Role

Role: Teaching Assistant

Contract: Fixed-Term, Term-Time Only (plus inset days)

Start Date: 2nd November 2026

End Date: 31st August 2027

Salary Range: NJC Outer London - Grade 3, Spine Point 5-7 £23,647.06 - £24,331 - Pro-Rata of (£29,434.00 FTE - £30,285.00 FTE Per Annum)

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 15:30pm - 32.5 Hours Per Week (half an hour unpaid lunch break)

This role will be based in our Nursery provision so an interest or experience in Early Years is preferred.
