Two roles: one 27.9 hours/week over 38.6 weeks (Mon–Fri, 8:40am–3:15pm, with a 1-hour lunch) and another 16.74 hours/week over 38.6 weeks (3 days/week, 8:40am–3:15pm).
You will join a supportive team, uphold inclusion, and contribute to the wider life of Greensand Multi Academy Trust.
We are looking for two Teaching Assistants who care about providing both academic and nurture support in class for our wonderful children. Your role will be to work as part of a supportive team to enhance the teaching and learning opportunities for pupils, particularly those with additional learning needs. Relevant experience supporting SEND children in a school or childcare setting is desirable but if you feel you have the right qualities for the role and are keen to learn, we would love to hear from you. If you have energy, kindness, patience and enthusiasm, we can offer you an exciting opportunity where you can truly make a difference each day.
Dovers Green School’s pupil admission numbers will be reducing over the next few years following the decision to change the school from a three‑form entry school to a one‑form entry school. Accordingly, staffing numbers will be reducing to reflect the lower number of children in attendance. This role is therefore being offered on a time‑bonded contract for the 2026/27 academic year only.
We want to attract the broadest range of talented people to be part of our Trust. We strive to create a diverse and inclusive environment and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If you need any specific support or require alternative formats, please contact us.
Greensand Multi Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful candidate will be required to have an enhanced DBS check and an overseas criminal records check if you have lived or worked outside the UK within the last 10 years. Shortlisted candidates will also be subject to an online check in accordance with the updated KCSIE statutory guidance.
