Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support learners in a Mansfield-based SEND setting. You will assist across age groups, help meet individual needs, and promote engagement in learning with a calm, nurturing approach.

This role requires experience with children or young people with SEND, particularly autism, plus patience and strong teamwork. Onsite position with opportunities for CPD and career progression.

Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £95 - £110 per day

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly autism.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable.
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A patient and nurturing approach to support individual learning needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A can-do attitude and willingness to support across different age groups.
