Job summary

Redhill Academy Trust is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant for South Nottinghamshire Academy in Radcliffe on Trent. The role is 19.75 hours per week, term time only, with duties under the Headteacher and classroom teacher guidance.

The successful candidate will be compassionate, empathetic and collaborative, supporting students with additional learning needs and contributing to a safe, positive learning environment. DBS checks and references will be required.

19.75 hours per week (3 days a week to be determined 08:15 - 15:00, 16:00 finish on a Tuesday) - Part time, Permanent, Term time only

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll: work within the school/unit as part of a team, under the general direction of the Headteacher who will be responsible for the overall policy of the educational programme and for matters of control and discipline within the appropriate articles of Government.

You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team, under the leadership and supervision of the teacher. In co-operation with the teacher and under the agreed educational plan, the postholder will work to a level reflected by the grade of the post.
