Job summary

Wessex Learning Trust is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support learning across student groups at a school within the trust. The role is part of the SEND team and requires collaboration with the SENDCo and Assistant SENDCo.

Hours are 24.5 per week (6 hours per day over four days, including Friday) with term-time weeks, plus a fortnightly Monday training 15:15–16:15. The role offers CPD and staff benefits within a supportive community.

  • Ability to carry out administrative tasks to support the SEND team in the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning.

Job description

Permanent contract to start as soon as possible.

Grade 14, points 4-6, current starting salary £26,016 FTE per annum, actual starting salary £14,524 per annum (£13.48 per hour).

6 hours per day, 08:30-15:10, less a 40 minute break, across 4 days, to include Friday.

Paid at 24.5 hours per week to include fortnightly 1 hour Monday training session 15:15 to 16:15 38.4 working weeks (term time plus 2 days, pro rata).
