AWD online is recruiting a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant for a part-time, permanent position at a secondary school in Hedge End, Southampton. The role offers 29.18 hours per week during term time, with four additional days outside core hours and flexible day allocation.

Make a meaningful difference to young people by providing inclusive learning and SEND support across a secondary school. Previous similar experience is desirable, not essential, with comprehensive induction and professional development provided.
Full Training Provided

WORKING HOURS: 29.18 hours per week, one day 8:30am - 4:00pm, flexibility to choose the day, excluding Fridays and 8.30am to 3.10pm for four additional days, term time only (38 weeks)
This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant who wants to help students with additional needs achieve their potential and become confident, independent learners.
Working across all subject areas, the Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant will provide classroom and small-group support while adapting strategies to students' individual SEND.
You will work closely with teachers, contribute to student progress and create positive learning relationships. The Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant will also receive ongoing professional learning and development.
