Job summary

Wessex Learning Trust is seeking a talented teaching assistant to support children in developing independence and resilience. The role emphasizes flexibility, enthusiasm, and alignment with the school’s Christian values, working within a committed team with diverse skills.

Position is 30 hours per week, term time only, on a fixed-term contract until August 2026. Grade 15, point 3–4; pro rata salary circa £17,232 to £26,016 depending on grade and hours.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or above is essential.
• Experience working with and supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities
• A commitment to the school's Christian values and ethos
• Excellent and proven classroom management skills
• Good level of English and mathematical knowledge
