Job summary

Cranford CE Primary School invites applications for a Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will support pupils during learning activities and assist teachers with education delivery in a friendly, caring atmosphere.

The role requires enthusiasm, sensitivity to pastoral needs, and a willingness to undertake CPD including First Aid and safeguarding training. A fixed-term contract runs until 31 July 2027, with term-time hours in the mornings.

Teaching Assistant

Contract Type: Fixed term until 31 July 2027.

Pay Grade: Grade D3.

Full Time Salary: £25,614

Actual Salary: £10,163.80

Hours: 17.50 hours over 5 mornings per week, 38 weeks per year.

We are seeking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic, professional Teaching Assistant to work in a team with our teachers, who understands the learning and pastoral needs of primary children. The role would entail supervising and supporting pupils in the learning environment, whilst assisting the teacher with the implementation of pupil education.
