Weldon Church of England Primary School in Corby is inviting applications for a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil, supporting learning and pastoral needs within a caring, Christian ethos. The role involves assisting the teacher with lesson delivery and managing behaviour to maintain a safe, productive classroom environment.
Two contract options exist: a morning 21.5 hours/week and an afternoon 12.5 hours/week, both within 38 weeks per year.

Pay Grade: Grade D3 to D4.
Full Time Salary: £25,614 to £26,016
This role comes with flexibility within the contracts on offer. Currently we have two contracts available as below, but a successful candidate may be able to work these roles alongside each other.
Morning position: 21.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, actual salary of £12,486.95 to £12,682.93. This post is fixed term until 31 August 2026, or until the return of the substantive post holder, as a maternity cover.
Afternoon position: 12.50 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, actual salary of £7,259.86 to £7,373.80. This post is a permanent contract.
Starting: 2 November 2026

The role would entail supervising and supporting pupils in the learning environment, whilst assisting the teacher with the implementation of pupil education.
