A leading educational staffing agency is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with autism in Year 1. The ideal candidate will be calm, patient, and emotionally intelligent, able to set clear and consistent boundaries in a nurturing environment. Responsibilities include adapting a bespoke timetable and working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to ensure effective learning support. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in Year 1.
The child is a bright and engaging little boy with autism who benefits from a bespoke timetable and highly individualised support. He can become overwhelmed in a busy classroom environment and therefore requires a calm, proactive adult who can support emotional regulation and engagement with learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
